FIRE EXTINGUISHER RECHARGING AND MAINTENANCE SERVICE

We are inspected under NOM154-SCFI-2005 and have a compliance report.
The cylinder is checked to verify its condition, the basic technical characteristics of the extinguisher are identified:
  • The date of manufacture.
  • The date of the last maintenance.
  • The date of the last hydrostatic test performed on the cylinder.

The extinguishing agent is discharged from the cylinder through a recovery container.

The extinguisher is disassembled to perform a detailed diagnosis of the state of its internal and external components.
The type of service required is identified:
  • Agent recharge.
  • Preventive maintenance.
  • Hydrostatic test.

It is the verification of the resistance of the extinguisher cylinder to ensure its useful life. A certificate is issued.

It consists of the removal of flakes of lamination or rust or paint.

We apply gray primary anticorrosive paint to protect it from rust.
Vermilion red finish is applied.

The extinguisher cylinder is filled to its rated capacity by the type of extinguishing agent that corresponds to it.
 
Important: Demand that the extinguishing agent is new and, if applicable, certified and of the current color.
 
The extinguishing agent type Dry Chemical Powder must be the color that corresponds to the year according to the Official Journal of the Federation according to the Mexican official standard NOM-104-STPS-2001.

All parts are reinstalled on the cylinder and the collar with the new hologram is placed on the cylinder.

Nitrogen is injected into the cylinder at its rated capacity, in order to maintain the pressure inside the cylinder so that, when the extinguisher is used, the extinguishing agent is fired with the speed and force required to extinguish the fire.

It is performed using air pressure through immersion of the extinguisher cylinder.

Plasticized labels are installed on the front of the extinguisher based on NOM-154-SCFI-2005 as well as security measures that are necessary to ensure the quality of service, the placement of the packaging.
 
The placement of the labeling is part of the requirements of NOM-154-SCFI-2005 which presents the following information:
  • Placement of safety measures.
  • Placement of commercial labeling.
At this stage, the quality control of the application of the service is performed, in which a check up of the standards required by NOM-154-SCFI-2005 is applied.
